Cat Goyer

Hi, I’m Cat Goyer—wife, mother, daughter, sister, and early-morning porch dweller. I’m definitely a morning person, and there's nothing I love more than starting my day with a hot cup of coffee, my Bible, morning prayers, and the quiet company of my cat, Mittens. I'm an avid reader and lifelong seeker of wisdom—drawn to the voices of saints, mystics, and thinkers like George MacDonald, C.S. Lewis, and David Bentley Hart. I also find deep joy in the writings of modern spiritual leaders and authors who point me toward Christ’s love and healing, and toward community with others. When I’m not reflecting or reading, I’m likely baking homemade bread, gathering eggs from our little homestead, or playing a board game with my family. We look at every day as a learning opportunity, and nothing teaches you quite like a house full of kids! I’m an aspiring author, but this blog is where I begin—writing down the meditations, reflections, and insights my prayers and studies bring.
